You’ve seen Think or Smile mixtapes on here before. The more I get to know Nathaniel, the more I realize that if he does something, it will be awesome, and I will like it a lot. His previous mixtapes have been full of fresh new jams, that he collected off the internet, aligned perfectly, and presents with the pageantry of a thousand kings. This mixtape, however, is taken from the annals of Nathaniel’s personal library, and crafted into something anyone with ears and a heart will enjoy. A perfect soundtrack to the holidays, no matter what your situation.

Here’s a few recommended uses: driving long distances late Christmas eve, watching snow fall early in the morning, flying home in the dark, alone, with people you love.

Believe In Music :: Holy Spirits//Nathaniel Whitcomb on the West Coast
You may remember the great friends of Brooklyn band Holy Spirits from the interview and video I did with them a while back. And hopefully you also remember the heart wrenching motion collage the Nathaniel Whitcomb of Think or Smile put together for their title song The Afternoon’s Blood.
Well they have a super exciting new venture that they’ve put together, and we all have a chance to help out and support these great guys and great music. They are raising funds through this Kickstarter project to take their music and art out west in a collaboration of music and image. With show’s in LA (hopefully presented by me) and San Francisco (by See The Leaves).
If you’ve had the pleasure of interacting with any of these gentleman, you know they are some of the most gracious, kind, and talented people out there. And I love seeing some creative solutions to touring! So here’s what you need to do:
1 :: Go find out more about the project and donate whatever you can over at the Kickstarter page
2 :: Go to Holy Spirits bandcamp and cop their amazing debut EP The Afternoon’s Blood
3 :: Go rummage around the hundreds of different kinds of crafts Nathaniel has mastered over at Think or Smile
