Aislyn is a new project that is the combination of Ian Hultquist (of Passion Pit) and his girlfriend Sofia Degli Alessandri. You can check out some videos of them performing at The Wet Bandits (more members of Passion Pit doing more awesome stuff with their time).

Two Door Cinema Club - Undercover Martyn Flexin’ It (Passion Pit Remix)
This week the remix I did for Two Door Cinema Club (an awesome band from Bangor, Northern Ireland that we had the pleasure of touring France with) was released as the B-Side to their 7” single released on Kitsune.
Awesome. I’ve always wanted something out on Kitsune!
With this remix I had a particular sound I wanted to go for - and that was Mariah Carey cruising in a suped-out Toyota screaming down the streets of Tokyo. I actually wrote this to the band after sending it in.
“Hopefully you boys will feel the R n B / Japanese thing i did with it. Just bounce up and down while doing circular hand motions when the chorus drops and you’ll get the feeling… “
I guess they liked it. They are touring with Phoenix, so going to watch them isn’t really an option. As its them and Phoenix. Win. Win.
