Pandit = Changes (Still In Love With You)
These are the sounds of evolution. The human overcoming life’s obstacles. Expression is the survival mechanism. The means by which one holds Steady Nerves and a Strong Heart.

Pandit= Kathryn, My Love
There is always a struggle within ourselves when we find that thing we know we should be doing. Because the minute we do, we simultaneously find a million reasons not to do it. Resistance surrounds us on every side, attempting to crush us. We find reasons why we should change to fit the expectations of others, to fit the mold. It is an all out war to be true to ourselves.
I’m glad Lance is fighting that fight (and winning it seems to me), and making this kind of music. May it only continue.

This amazing compilation just released today features some of my (and the blogosphere’s) favorite artist covering everyone from The Cure to the Cocteau Twins. Including Kitteh Fur, A.P. Witomski, Ghost Animal, Coma Cinema, Seapony, Pandit, just to name a few!
The compilation was created to celebrate the 20th birthday of French magazine Magic RPM. And it is going to be released on cassette through the wonderful Orchid Tapes in the very near future. But you can download the whole thing here for free!
The choice single off the upcoming album of Texas musician and general top class guy Lance Smith has just been visualized. Renato Quijada just released this subtle yet poignant video for Artichoke.
Eternity Spin, out February 22nd on Waaga Records is easily one of my most anticipated releases this year. Lance is one of the most impressive musicians and producers I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with in the last year or so. Go ahead and pre-order the album now.

Tyler T. Williams has done it again. This time with a new nuanced video on the intricacies of heartbreak and relationships. Perfect for the unexpected scaled down gems Lance Smith of Pandit pulls out whenever he wants. Lance’s diversity astounds me.
One of the most anticipated releases for this year is and should be Pandit’s Eternity Spin. You can pre-order the CD version on Waaga Records now. Which you will not regret!
