Ambassador Engine = The White Harte

“Well are you feeling some kind of hunted? Because I know that there are those days. When you can’t find your way back to where you should be. This is where you should be.”

It’s been a while since we last heard from Ambassador Engine, Colorado native Aaron Landgraf’s bedroom project. He last made an appearance on my BUOY mixtape. But he’s back, and with a newly recorded EP called The White Harte.

He couldn’t have known, but Aaron shared this heartfelt EP with me at just the right moment. A moment when I needed it most. Something to ease me, remind me that it is going to be okay. And if that wasn’t enough, Aaron is one of the kindest most caring guys I’ve never met; never simply sharing his music, he always insists on knowing how I’m doing. And you can feel every bit of this attitude in his music.

I hope you enjoy this EP as much as I do.

Happy Trendy = Where Are Your Synths?

Happy to say Dylan Khotin-Foote has released the new album under his new moniker Happy Trendy. And this new video by The Tearist doesn’t hurt anything.

Best of all, you can order the cassette directly through Dylan at imhappytrendy@gmail.com. And the one and only Orchid Tapes are producing the tapes. You can read more about them over here. In the mean time, go stream/download the whole thing at his Bandcamp!

Been digging the funky dance beats of Vancouver’s Bear Mountain today. Ian Bevis sent over his self-titled EP, which consists of 3 distinct and bangin tracks ready for your downloading pleasure.

Mean Lady = Lonely

Just wait for it. Wait for the dancing piano and tinkering bells to take you to the main event. The crooning smooth as butter vocals of Katie Dill. Just part of this Newark, NJ bred band Mean Lady. I’ve had Kid Friendly on most of the night, and I can’t say I regret it.

Go pick Kid Friendly up for yourself, and for FREE
