High Highs - Ivy
In anticipation of their new EP release on none other than friends and heroes Small Plate Records, High Highs have released this new swooning breath of fresh air. There’s something about their production (or sometimes lack of) that makes them sound effortless. Like they’re not even trying. That’s partly infuriating and partly infatuating.
The EP is to be released November 22nd, so start preparing your hearts now.
I had the pleasure of throwing together this mix for amazing UK based thread company Forty Ounce Clothing. What makes the deal even sweeter is that it’s in conjunction with a collaboration t-shirt by my very own sister Steffaloo.

The High Highs are one of those slow moving forces that you don’t really notice until you look back and see that they’ve eroded the likes of the Grand Canyon. The New York band just dropped this single today, and it’s been on repeat. Such a great uniquness that both stands alone and reminisces of something familiar.
They are gonna be at SXSW, so look out for these guys.
