Joining the Knoxville club, of whom already include COOLRUNNINGS and Yung Life, come Teams. There’s not much out there about them, but their bandcamp has some pretty solid stuff among which is the above “määs (chroma)” which is an shimmering piece of awesome that crescendos into something you can’t help but get into.
ps - there’s an awesome remix of COOLRUNNINGS “Slumberland” up on their myspace that’s definitely worth checking out.
COOLRUNNINGS = FORT KID
Fort Kid is a slower COOLRUNNINGS jam. This one’s just been sitting here in my itunes not doing anything. I really like the synths mid way through the verse, they sound like color changing clouds. The song kind of drifts into a dream at the end. It’s a pretty song but it’s unusual compared to what we normally write.
A serious departure from normal COOLRUNNINGS jams. Sometimes it’s just good to know that sometimes bands have moodswings too, and can write amazing stuff that doesn’t sound like them. Really digging this.

It seems like there is a new mindblowing track coming out at every turn these days. It just so happens a lot of them are aiding in the inevitable change of season quickly approaching. And with the weather getting increasingly warmer, the shirts cut lower, the shorts shorter, the shoes sandier, and so on, I felt compelled to put together this mix of tracks that I’ve been letting take hold of me.

Twin Sister = All Around and Away We Go (No Merry Go Rounds) COOLRUNNINGS Remix
So as we know Twin Sister recently posted the stems to “All Around and Away We Go” to commence the remixing. Well lucky for everyone, our friends COOLRUNNINGS took full advantage of this and have presented us this gem of a remix above. This is definitely a great kick of to the remixes that will surely follow of this great song. I’m excited to see what else may come.

Here’s a great debut video for one of Smoke Don’t Smoke’s favorites, COOLRUNNINGS. They just sent this over as well as their new EP “Babes Forever” that they just released on their bandcamp. And according to Brandon these are a lot of the songs they have planned for an upcoming cassette! But, they decided against it and are planning mostly all new stuff for the release of their cassette coming soon!
