Chrome Sparks - Still Sleeping (Flashlights remix)

I’m happy to give you a first listen, together with my friend Jake over at Speaker Snacks, to Chrome Sparks latest dream, Still Sleeping (featuring the sister Steffaloo) and it’s new gentle, yet thorough, rework by the Denver’s electro-pop swoon-inducing, Flashlights. There’s going to be a whole slew of these remixes set to release with the new year, so keep an eye on Chrome Sparks bandcamp. 

Also forthcoming, is a new Flashlights EP that is as bangin’ and full of awesome as an EP has ever been. So while you’re keeping one eye on Chrome Sparks bandcamp, keep the other eye on Flashlights bandcamp.

Chrome Sparks - Still Sleeping (feat. Steffaloo)

This brand new track from Chrome Sparks featuring, of course, my sister Steffaloo was just premiered on the ZONE (download link). Their collaboration has only strengthened since the release of My <3, the two artists have made it physical and are touring together as tumbl, and will end up at CMJ. Sad as I am for not being able to attend :(, seeing Chrome Sparks with Steffaloo integrated seamlessly into the pack should be on the top of your priorities. 

Keep an eye on the bandcamp for the forthcoming EP this track belongs to.

Parallax - a mix by smoke don&#8217;t smoke The past couple months have flown by. Trying to maintain a super cooperate job, while attempting to keep up with the world of music, and really just life in general. It&#8217;s had me thinking whether I&#8217;m even in the right spot at all. Whether I&#8217;d be better off doing something else? Then again, maybe it&#8217;s all just parallax. The apparent displacement of an object, all due to the position in which the object is seen. Chrome Sparks = Miss You (feat. Steffaloo)

I put together a playlist for a party a couple weekends ago. It wasn’t long before someone came up to me and asked about a song that played. It ended up being an early version of this song that Jeremy had sent me. I described that Chrome Sparks has fastly become one of my favorite producers, and it wasn’t hard for them to see why. 

And just when I thought this song couldn’t get any better, my very own sister added her gentle vocals to it. It’s part of a brand new EP My <3 just released yesterday. Seven new songs including one we’ve heard before: <3 and Soul. Go pay what you want for it now.
