This is good. Real good.

I didn’t want to lead with a picture of Justin Vernon because the focus is this amazing new record coming out by Anaïs Mitchell Hadestown. From JagJaguwar, they say, “Hadestown is a modern folk opera whose songs tell the tale of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice re-imagined and set in the United States.”
And if that statement doesn’t both blow your mind and make you question everything you’ve ever known, I don’t know what will. But what makes it even sweeter is that Justin Vernon is contributing to a number of tracks on the album, which for any fan of everything Justin touches, like me, is exciting news.
The record is out on Tuesday, March 9th. You can download the track below at JagJaguwar. <3

(from album Self Record)

Justin Vernon

In 2005 Justin Vernon recorded Self Record. The name couldn’t speak more clearly about itself. Rough, homemade, and still somehow a total win. The man is magic.

p.s. - I finally found the whole album. If you want it just email me.

Justin Vernon = Rocks in My Bed (ft. Addie Strei)
Why not cover an Ella Fitzgerald song. I mean you’re already Justin Vernon; why not.
Is there anything Justin Vernon can’t make sound good?

St. Vincent(Annie Clark) & Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver)

Two of the greatest artists collabing. I love collaborations. Enjoy.
