This amazing compilation just released today features some of my (and the blogosphere’s) favorite artist covering everyone from The Cure to the Cocteau Twins. Including Kitteh Fur, A.P. Witomski, Ghost Animal, Coma Cinema, Seapony, Pandit, just to name a few!
The compilation was created to celebrate the 20th birthday of French magazine Magic RPM. And it is going to be released on cassette through the wonderful Orchid Tapes in the very near future. But you can download the whole thing here for free!

We all know that the worst part about vacation, is coming back. I got back from nearly a 10 day vacation, and my head is still fully submerged in all these emails filled with great music for me to enjoy.
Driving back from San Francisco yesterday seemed to beckon a soundtrack of only Coma Cinema. It was a quiet and slow drive, one where you just sort of stare out the window lost in the movement of the vehicle, and what you are leaving behind.
I was very excited to come back to some amazing remixes of one of Mat’s newer tracks coming off what is fastly becoming my most coveted album Blue Suicide. Not too much longer until it’s out and ready for the world to enjoy. For now enjoy these three completely different takes on the same solid song.

Hey everyone,

We are extremely sorry for the lack of communication on the Coma Cinema “Stoned Alone” tape. There have been some major issues with the manufacturing process, and therefore shipping has been delayed. I know there is no excuse for the lack of communication with Mat and the rest of everyone involved, and we apologize for that. We are very sorry for any problems this may have caused for Coma Cinema and all his fans that ordered the tape. The tape will be shipped to you as planned if you have ordered it, it will also include a free CD-R of the album for all of the trouble with communication and the shipping of your orders. If you would rather just have get a refund please e-mail us with your PayPal e-mail and we can work it out. I will send everyone who still wants the tapes confirmation when the tapes have shipped. Although I know there is no excuse and it doesn’t make up for what happened. We would like to also sincerely apologize to Mat and everyone else involved with Coma Cinema for everything that has happened, never meant for it to go down this way. Thanks again to everyone that supported Coma Cinema and their album, we hope in no one will this hinder any of you from supporting any of Coma Cinema’s further ventures. Again very sorry for the inconvenience.

Best,

Ryan
