Those magical souls just on the other side of our northern border, that create the force known as Arbutus Records have conviened once more. This time bringing us a split cassette as beautiful as it is fun.
One half is filled with the musical landscapes, and subtle Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed tracks of Kool Music. Jasper Baydala makes these sounds, and his knack for visual art is almost as evident to the ear, as I’m sure it is to the eye.
The other half comes to us via the other worldliness of one of my favorites, Sean Nicholas Savage. Those alien eyes do nothing but entrap you in his odd, romantic croonings, surely serving as some sort of intergalactic lounge singer. In any case it’s more of the Sean we love, plus some new Sean experiments, like the spacey psyche UFO below.
