I don’t know why I skimmed past this video the first few times I heard about it. But thanks to Yours Truly, an amazing video of The Morning Benders singing “Excuses” from their upcoming album “Big Echo” being released March 9th. The Fader did a great write up on the video talking about maturity of bands and musicians. I can’t help but agree, as we see more and more bands coming into their own after a few not bad, but “adolescent” albums (ie Beach House?).

I didn’t know, but Gorilla vs Bear pointed out that Chris Taylor (of Grizzly Bear) actually helped produce the new album. Anyways, if the video is any indication of what we are to expect with the new album, then I think it stands to reason, there should be some anticipation rising.
