The Actors = Through a False Door

It’s hard to make comparisons sometimes without taking away from the uniqueness of the band you’re talking about. But with the release of this new EP and the fact that I got to see them a month or so back here in LA, it’s hard not to think The Police when you hear The Actors. It’s even harder not to think The Police when you see The Actors, as Phil Maves, the lead vocals, is a dashing blond with a bass.

It’s hard not to love this heavy synth retro-pop. Awesome stuff, and you can go download it for free at their bandcamp!
